課程概述 |
This course is designed as an intensive training program for students to become effective ESL/EFL teachers. It provides students both theoretical principles and practical aspects for English teaching, particularly for course designs and teaching skills. Specifically, students will learn methods and techniques of English teaching and evaluation and design of teaching activities and materials. Students will also develop their professions through teaching demonstration, school visits, and classroom observation. |

課程目標 |
This course is intended to prepare students to be effective high school English teachers. Specific course objectives include: (1) developing teaching skills and professional knowledge concerning course and teaching material designs, teaching methods, lesson planning, and language testing and assessment, (2) increasing practice and experience in classroom teaching, presentation, and observation, (3) understanding current EFL programs provided by public and private high schools, and (4) improving proficiency in classroom instruction and presentation. |
